Abby grew up in Stokesdale and currently lives in Winston-Salem. Growing up with a special needs family member, Abby got involved in volunteering with special needs ministries such as Young Life’s Capernaum. Abby continued this path, graduating from Appalachian State University in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in Child Development and Family Studies with a minor in Special Education. While there, she interned with The Scholars with Diverse Disabilities Program. After graduating Abby said, “Through my passion for inclusion; God’s Word to be magnified; and for people to find their purpose in life through the gifts God has given; I knew He was calling me to join the Mount Jubilee family.”
