Bringing both professional expertise and a heart full of compassion, Gloria navigates the world of Medicaid as our Qualified Professional.
Gloria earned her bachelor degree from Appalachian State University in Health Promotion and her Master’s from NCA&T in Adult Education. Gloria’s professional journey includes being a Direct Support Professional with UMAR Inc and a Qualified Professional with Monarch. Gloria held similar roles in both the Rockingham County school system and Rockingham Community college.
Gloria values coordinating care by working directly with individuals and families to create meaningful opportunities that enrich the lives of people in the I/DD population. Gloria’s passion is for everyone with a disability to know that God made them with unique gifts, personalities and purpose.
“I’ve built meaningful relationships with many individuals and have learned so much from them- their resilience, joy, and strength. Supporting them is not just a job, it’s meaningful work that allows me to help others live fulfilling lives while also growing personally myself. It’s important that they are valued and treated with dignity and respect,” explains Gloria.
Off the clock, Gloria enjoys family, friends, a good podcast, iced lattes, and the great outdoors. Gloria desires a deeper relationship with God and seeks to walk in His wisdom while serving with humility.

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
