Community Comes Together to Celebrate Heroes and Support Year-Round Programs
Reidsville, NC – September 19, 2026 – Mount Jubilee Ministries (MJM) celebrated its 11th Annual Family Fun Walk, bringing together families, supporters, volunteers, and community partners for a memorable day of fun, fellowship, and fundraising. The beloved annual event has already raised an impressive $160,000 in support of MJM’s mission to serve adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.
Eleven Years of Community Impact
What began as a modest community gathering has grown into Mount Jubilee Ministries’ signature fundraising event, uniting hundreds of individuals each year around a shared purpose: creating opportunities for our Heroes to thrive.
Now in its 11th year, the Family Fun Walk continues to demonstrate the extraordinary impact of a community that shows up, gives generously, and believes in the importance of inclusion, connection, and meaningful opportunities for adults with special needs.
A New Format, More Family Fun!
This year’s Family Fun Walk introduced a refreshed, family-friendly format designed to make the celebration even more enjoyable for attendees of all ages.
Families enjoyed special appearances by Spider-Man and Elsa, refreshing treats from Kona Ice, entertaining circus tricks, and activities that brought smiles to children and adults alike.
While the event featured plenty of fun and excitement, the heart of the Family Fun Walk remained unchanged: celebrating our Heroes, connecting families, and rallying the community around the mission of Mount Jubilee Ministries.
The $160,000 raised so far reflects the tremendous generosity of event sponsors, fundraising teams, donors, volunteers, and community partners who continue to make this event possible.

Supporting a Mission That Continues to Grow
For 21 years, Mount Jubilee Ministries has been a Christ-centered organization dedicated to enriching the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and supporting their families.
Through programs including HIS Path Day Programs, Camp Jubilee, and respite care, MJM provides opportunities for personal growth, meaningful relationships, community engagement, and greater independence.
Funds raised through the Family Fun Walk directly support these year-round programs, helping MJM continue meeting the growing need for quality services across the communities it serves.
