When Mount Jubilee Ministries received the news from Helen Chilton at First Carolina Bank in Reidsville that His Path was selected as their April Nonprofit of the Month for the second consecutive year, needless to say, we were honored.  As part of that honor in 2020, FCB donated LARGE PRINT Bibles in an easy-to-understand translation for our His Path heroes. It was a wonderful addition to our program.

On April 4th, Helen slipped by the program once again with a special gift basket filled with sensory items for our friends to enjoy.  Some of the items included squishy gel balls to help relieve stress, emotion cards to practice recognizing and interpreting others’ emotions, and even a sensory lap experience which includes zippers, buttons, and different kinds of materials to engage our senses. These have been quickly put to use.

First Carolina Bank recognizes the importance of its involvement in the local community in many ways, not the least being through their employees volunteering their time, donating financially to their favorite nonprofits or both. They show us the value of living and banking in a small town where support for one another is paramount. Mount Jubilee Ministries salutes First Carolina Bank in Reidsville for its example of community spirit and we are truly grateful for your recognition.

His Path is a developmental day program for adults (18 and older) with intellectual and or developmental disabilities who require mild to moderate support. His Path operates under Mount Jubilee Ministries whose core belief is “ALL people, regardless of their ability, have a God-ordained purpose for their lives and should have the opportunity to live as contributing members of society.”
