Meaningful Work

His Path Day Program is for Adults (18 and older) with Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities.  His Path operates under Mount Jubilee Ministries whose core belief is “ALL people, regardless of their ability, have a God-ordained purpose for their lives and should have the opportunity to live as contributing members of society.”

Through a Christ-centered approach, we have built an enriching environment for our Heroes to continue their education, develop skills, have fun and flourish!  Our curriculum is based on the following components:

Vocational Skills

His Path is introducing various enterprises, such as seasonal greeting cards, which empower heroes to become artisans and craftsmen. We have the opportunity to reflect God’s image by creating items and collaborating in meaningful work.
His Path learning to cook.

Monthly Skills

Each month we focus on a skill that further develops how Heroes interact with the world and how we view it. Monthly skills include daily living components such as: safety, finance, teamwork, relationships, communication, time management, hygiene, fitness and health programs, cooking days, and educational skills.

Community Integration

God made us social beings who are best developed and expressed in the context of a community.  We need one another! Heroes go on various outings and seasonal field trips in which we engage with our communities. Library, parks, zoo, museums, restaurants, food banks and volunteering are among favorites with each program.

Developmental Activities

Through Bible time, worship, talent shows, games, crafts, handbells, monthly verses and other activities we provide our Heroes with a sense of belonging and the ability to shine their God-given abilities.
