Press Release: MJM Announces New Program Director

Mount Jubilee Ministries is happy to introduce our new Program Director, Angelica Villalta. Though born in America, Angelica was raised in El Salvador.  After moving back to the United States (Thomasville, NC), she began her involvement with Mount Jubilee Ministries serving as a counselor at Camp Jubilee beginning in 2016.

Upon enrolling at the University of North Carolina in Greensboro, Angelica began her studies in Kinesiology, obtaining her Bachelor of Science degree in 2018.   It was shortly after this that she began to work with the MJM His Path program in Reidsville. While the program shut down in 2020 due to Covid, Angelica continued her education at NC A&T where she began to pursue a Masters in Special Education.

Opening a second location for His Path in Winston-Salem, MJM named Angelica Program Coordinator for that location in June of 2021.  That program quickly grew in size with an attendance average of 12 Heroes and 3-4 staff members. While serving at His Path, Angelica was able to obtain a certificate for American Sign Language and Interpreting from Blue Ridge Community College in 2022.

It was because of her dedication and desire to serve our His Path Heroes that in March, 2023, Angelica was identified as the new Program Director, replacing her colleague and dear friend, Jenna Moore.  During her interview, Angelica said, “I want to use all of my education and knowledge of the population and pour it back into this ministry to help our Heroes.”  Mount Jubilee Ministries is blessed to have Angelica with such a heart for personal growth and service.   We are confident that our Heroes and their families feel the same way.
