The innovative care model at Hope Haven and Care Cottage aims to deliver on-demand, trusted, and high-quality care while supporting caregivers by offering much-needed rest. By fostering a safe, enjoyable, and memorable experience for individuals with special needs (we call them our Heroes), the program seeks to enhance both caregiver and Hero well-being. The primary purpose of this initiative is to address three key challenges faced by families and caregivers of adults with special needs:

  • Provide convenient access to certified, trusted caregivers.
  • Maintain caregiver stability and privacy through the availability of third-party residences.
  • Facilitate a safe, fun, and enriching temporary living environment for Heroes.

About This Property

Hope Haven is a welcoming home designed specifically for male guests, offering a peaceful retreat with all the comforts of home. Our facility features spacious living areas, a fully equipped kitchen, and a serene outdoor space perfect for relaxation and social activities.

Full Bed | Dedicated Bathroom

$99/night + Respite Hours

$99/night is to reserve the room. There are additional fees for 16 hours required respite care per day.  Typically, this expense is paid for through the Hero’s State Medicaid, 1915i, or Innovations Waiver Services and is therefore no cost to the caregiver. However, if you do not have these services, there will be a cost. Simply fill out the interest form below to begin the conversation!

Care Cottage is a warm and inviting home designed specifically for female guests seeking a comfortable, enjoyable community. Nestled in a serene neighborhood, it offers a peaceful environment with spacious living areas, a fully equipped kitchen, and a beautiful outdoor area for relaxation.

Full Time Residential Opportunities at Care Cottage for Women:

If you are interested in being considered as one of the two permanent residential spots available at Care Cottage, please contact Jessie Meador at for more information. There will be an interest call and then an application & approval process that follows.

Monthly costs vary depending on services needed for full-time residents and each room has a different rent price. Rent includes wi-fi and utilities. It does not include food & certain activities. Residential host support is available through a partner Medicaid Service Provider or self-pay.
